James Wolsky used his China Center Scholarship to fund his internsive language study program in Beijing.
Here is a taste of James' experience in his own words:
"[Study abroad] put me in situations I never thought I could do. The director of the program asked me and a few other students to give a speech at a U.S.-China economic and financial summit where U.S. and Chinese students discussed the relationship between the countries’ economies. Being able to speak professionally for eight minutes was a huge moment for me and my Chinese. It gave me confidence that I will be able to use my Chinese in a professional setting."
