Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology sent its second delegation to the University of Minnesota for an Education Philosophy and Pedagogy Training Program from August 9 to August 28, 2015. The China Center collaborated with staff and faculty from the Center for Educational Innovation to design a series of lectures covering the U.S. higher education system.
The delegation was able to experience classes in a University classroom setting, in addition to interacting with U of M faculty and staff to learn more about the key differences between the U.S. and Chinese higher education systems. The Mingda Training Program also accompanied the delegation on visits to the University of Minnesota-Duluth and Augsburg College to illustrate the various types of higher education institutions in the U.S.
