Chang Tieh-Ching graduated from National Chengchi University in 1948, and in 1958, Chang came to the University of Minnesota and received a master degree in economics in 1961.
After graduation, Chang returned to Taiwan and served successively on positions with the Yu Tai Industrial Corporation, Central Finance Committee, Oriental Union Chemical Corporation, Central Investment Holding Company, and China American Petrochemical Company. After that, Chang served as a professor at National Chengchi University, director of the Yu-Foong Textile Company, and director of the Bank of Canton in San Francisco.
Chang was also the president of the University of Minnesota alumni association in Taiwan.
张铁清，1948年毕业于台湾国立政治大学，1958年来到明尼苏达大学并于1961年获得经济学专业硕士学位。
毕业回到台湾后，张铁清曾任职于裕台企业、台湾中央财政委员会、东联化学股份有限公司、中央投资控股有限公司和中美和石油化学股份有限公司。后来，张铁清任教于国立政治大学，并担任裕丰纺织有限公司经理，和广东银行旧金山支行主任。
张铁清曾任明尼苏达大学台湾校友会主席。
