Freeman Hui Shen received a bachelor of science in engineering from South China University of Technology, a master of science in engineering from University of California at Los Angeles, and a master in businesss administration from the Carlson School of Management’s China Executive MBA program at the University of Minnesota in 2003. Shen is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
Shen worked for several Fortune 500 companies based in North America and Europe, including Fiat Group China, TXU Group, Eaton Corporation, and Borg Warner Inc. He then joined Geely Holding Group as a board member and group vice president of corporate development. He also serves as chairman and CEO of Shanghai Geely Zhaoyuan International and chairman of Volvo Car Group China. Shen was in charge of the acquisition of Volvo Car by Geely.
He was selected to become an Olympic torch relay runner for the 2008 summer Olympics held in Beijing. Because of his contributions to local economics and communities, he was awarded the Camellia Award from Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Magnolia Award from the Shanghai Municipal Government.

沈晖，获得华南理工大学工程专业学士学位、加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校工程专业硕士学位，后来于明尼苏达大学卡尔森管理学院获得工商管理学硕士。此外，沈晖还是哈佛商学院高级管理项目的毕业生。
沈晖曾为几所总部在欧美的世界500强企业效力，其中包括中国菲亚特集团、TXU 集团, 伊顿集团和博格华纳集团等总部。随后，沈辉加入吉利控股集团。目前沈晖担任吉利控股集团董事会成员、集团副总裁，也是上海吉利肇源国际的主席和首席执行官、中国沃尔沃集团主席、沃尔沃汽车集团的高级副总裁。过去四年里，沈晖负责吉利集团对沃尔沃的收购。
沈晖是2008年北京奥运会火炬传递手。浙江省政府和上海市政府曾分别颁发“山茶花奖”、“玉兰奖”给沈辉，以表彰他对本地经济和社会发展所做出的贡献。
