Li Kezuo 李克佐

Li Kezuo, who was born in 1917 in Zibo, Shandong province, graduated from Wuhan University in machinery in 1940. In 1948, he graduated from the University of Minnesota with a master’s degree in agricultural engineering.

After Li returned to China, he served as deputy manager and chief engineer at Beijing Agricultural Machinery Plant and Beijing Internal Combustion Engine General Factory. He then became vice general manager, chief engineer, and advanced engineer at Beijing Automotive Industry General Company. In addition, Li served on the board of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery.

Li led the development and experimental manufacturing of a double shared double wheeled plow, GT4.9 grain harvester, 4115 diesel engine, and 492 carbureted engine. He also edited the book “A brief review of agricultural mechanization development in Soviet Union, the United States, Great Britain, and Japan.”

李克佐,1917年生于山东淄博,1940年毕业于武汉大学机械系。1948年毕业于美国明尼苏达大学并获得农业工程硕士学位。

回国后,李克佐历任北京农业机械厂和北京内燃机总厂副厂长兼总工程师,北京市汽车工业总公司副总经理兼总工程师、高级工程师,中国农业机械学会第一、二届理事。曾主持设计、试制了双轮双铧犁、GT4.9 谷物联合收割机、4115型柴油机、492型汽油机,并已投入生产。此外,李克佐的编著有《苏美英日农业机械化发展简况》。
