Tsai Chuen-Jinn received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University in 1977, and a master of science in 1986 and a doctorate in 1990 from the Particle Technology Laboratory in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Minnesota.
After graduation, Tsai worked as a professor of the Institute of Environmental Engineering at National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, where he established one of the best aerosol laboratories known as the Nanoparticle and Air Quality Laboratory.The laboratory conducts research on aerosol sampling instruments, aerosol physics, aerosol control devices, and air quality. He has published more than 100 scientific articles and has held 10 patents.
Tsai is one of the founding members ofthe Chinese Association for Aerosol Research in Taiwan and the Asian Aerosol Research Assembly. He chaired the 6th International Aerosol Conference in Taiwan in 2002. In 2006, Tsai received the International Aerosol Fellow Award from the International Aerosol Research Assembly.

蔡春进，1977年毕业于国立台湾大学机械系，1986年获得美国明尼苏达大学机械系的微粒实验室完成硕士，1990年获得博士学位。
毕业后，蔡春进任教于交通大学环境工程研究所，在过去的十余年间他建立了国内有名的奈米微粒及空气品质实验室，从事气胶采样分析仪器、气胶物理、空气污染控制技术及空气品质的相关研究。蔡春进研究成果丰硕，已发表百余篇国内外期刊论文及获得10项专利。
蔡春进是中华民国气胶研究学会及亚洲气胶研究学会的主要创始人之一。2002年，中华民国气胶研究学会接受国际气胶研究学会的委托，主办了第六届国际气胶研讨会，并由蔡春进担任大会主席。2006年，他被国际气胶研究学会授予International Aerosol Fellow Award，成为国内环工界第一个获得此国际大奖的学者。
