M.S., Forestry, 1950
Tu Guanghan, who was born in 1922, graduated from the College of Forestry at Central University in 1944 and received a master’s degree in forestry from the University of Minnesota in 1950.
After he returned to China, Tu served at North China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Ministry of Forestry, and Chief Forestry Station successively. In 1982, he became the deputy general manager of the China National Tree Seed Corporation. Tu also served on the board of the Chinese Society of Forestry and led the drafting of the publications “Technical Regulations on Seed Collection” and “Technical Regulations on Growing Seedlings.” In addition, Tu edited several books including “Forest Nursery” and “Tree Seed Management.”
涂光涵，1922年生于北京，1944年毕业于中央大学农学院森林系，1950年获明尼苏达大学林学硕士学位。
回国后，先后在华北农业科学研究所森林系、林业部林业科学研究所、林业部造林局、林场总局任职。1982年任中国林木种子公司副总经理。此外，他还曾任中国林学会理事。先后主持制定《采种技术规程》、《育苗技术规程》等。主编有《森林苗圃》、《林木种子经营》等。
