Dr. Tianhong Cui is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and an Affiliate Senior Member of the graduate faculty in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. His current research interests include MEMS/ NEMS and nanotechnology for medical applications. He published more than 280 technical papers, and holds 5 US patents in the above areas. He is the founding Executive Editor-in-Chief for two Nature journals, Light: Science & Applications and Microsystems & Nanoengineering.
