The China Center provides financial support to University of Minnesota students who will study abroad or participate in an educational program in the Greater China area. Students from all colleges and campuses are eligible to apply. Students may apply for more than one scholarship.

China Center Scholarship
The China Center Scholarship provides an opportunity for University of Minnesota students to incorporate an educational or research experience in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau as part of their academic studies, internships, research, or professional training.
Hsiao Scholarship
The Hsiao Scholarship was established in 2001 by Jennie and Fred Hsiao, recognized leaders in Minnesota's Chinese American community, to provide an opportunity for University of Minnesota students to incorporate an educational experience in China as part of their academic studies.
China West Scholarship
The China West Scholarship provides an opportunity for University of Minnesota students to incorporate an educational experience in China as part of their academic studies. We are currently not accepting applications for the China West Scholarship.
