Professor and Director of School of Kinesiology

Dr. Li Li Ji is a Professor and Director of School of Kinesiology with the University of Minnesota Twin Cities College of Education and Human Development. Dr. Ji was the first Chinese national to pursue a graduate degree in exercise physiology at a United States school since 1949. He is a nationally and internationally renounced scholar in biochemical and molecular aspects of exercise, nutrition, and aging. Since 2010 Dr. Ji founded the Chinese Champions Program which brings top athletes and coaches to study in the University of Minnesota. He is also the Principal Investigator of the State Department-funded American Culture Center in China.
