The Twin Cities Go Club, in partnership with the University of Minnesota China Center, is excited to invite Go players from Minnesota and across the Midwest to the 2026 Minnesota Open!

Sunday, October 11 | 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
This year’s Minnesota Open will be a two-day tournament featuring five rounds of AGA-rated games. Whether you’re an experienced tournament player or looking for more competitive Go, this is a great opportunity to test your skills, meet fellow players, and enjoy a full weekend of Go.
After five rounds of competition, we will crown the 2026 Minnesota Go Champion with the championship trophy, along with awards for winners in each tournament division!

Saturday, October 10 | 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Dinner will be provided at 5:00 p.m. followed by casual games and activities for players of all levels.
New to Go? You’re especially welcome! We’ll offer beginner-friendly teaching sessions to introduce you to the game, along with other fun Go activities and plenty of opportunities to play in a relaxed setting.
Bring a friend, introduce someone new to Go, or stay after the tournament rounds to enjoy an evening with the community.
