The University of Minnesota’s China Center, in collaboration with Link To China, hosted an eight-member delegation from Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) International Aero-Development Corporation from October 7 to October 11. The delegation participated in a training program focused on strategic planning and leadership development. The program was a custom-designed program developed by the China Center’s Mingda Institute for Leadership Training.
During their visit, the delegation attended a series of business lectures by Carlson School of Management faculty members. The group also visited the Minnesota Trade Office, where Executive Director Kathleen Motzenbecker, Deputy Director Ed Dieter, and Li King Feng welcomed them. Ms. Motzenbecker spoke highly of the partnership between AVIC and the industries in Minnesota, and the important role of the China Center as a bridge between China and Minnesota.
