Ten members from China Aviation Industry General Aircraft (CAIGA) recently took part in the Mingda Institute’s “Aerospace and Aviation Training Program” from March 4 to March 10, 2018. The delegation attended lectures provided by University of Minnesota faculty on topics such as Strategic Supply Chain, Project Management in the Modern Aerospace Industry, and Product Development in Aviation. Delegates also visited 3M and the Uninhabited Arial Vehicle Lab in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Minnesota.
After finishing the training program at the University, the delegation went to Duluth to visit their sister company, Cirrus Aircraft. The delegation met up with engineers and mechanics from Cirrus and exchanged opinions regarding aircraft design and future development of the aerospace industry.
