Between July 28 and August 17, 2013, the China Center's Mingda Training Program welcomed a 19-member training delegation from Henan Polytechnic University. In Minnesota to study U.S. higher education policy and management, the delegation enjoyed a series of customized lectures given by distinguished University of Minnesota faculty. They also entertained discussions with their instructors in regard to the chief differences between the U.S. and Chinese higher education systems. The Mingda Training Program accompanied the delegation on visits to higher education institutions in the region as well, including St. Cloud State University, where they were warmly received by leaders of the university.
