Xi’an Aeronautical University was founded in 1955, owned by the Central and Provincial Government. Xi’an Aeronautical University offers many bachelor level programs including aircraft manufacturing, aviation engine engineering, and other aerospace programs. The faculty members from Xi’an Aeronautical University are always seeking ways to improve their teaching methods and concepts to fit the current trend around the world.
Xi’an Aeronautical University sent a group of core faculty members to the University of Minnesota for training focused on educational philosophy in December 6 to December 18, 2015. The two-week program was aimed at helping faculty members understand the U.S. higher education and teaching methods. The delegation also had the opportunity to visit several laboratories on campus.
The Mingda Institute of Leadership Training collaborated with the Center for Educational Innovation to design multiple workshops for the delegation.
