On May 21, the China Center hosted a delegation from China comprising major chain restaurant owners, food manufacturers, and representatives from Ecolab’s China and local offices. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the University of Minnesota’s longstanding engagement with China and its role in developing global talent.
The program opened with a welcome session and a presentation outlining the University’s connections to China through academic partnerships, training programs, and alumni networks. Delegates also learned about the University’s contributions to international workforce development and its strengths in research, innovation, and global education.
Following the presentation, the China Center led a guided campus tour. The visit strengthened relationships with industry partners and underscored the University’s continued efforts to support cross-border exchange.
