Ph.D., Economics, 1966
Liangxin Fan, born in 1932 in Xiamen, was enrolled in Department of Economics of Taiwan University in 1952. Fan came to the University of Minnesota after he graduated from Taiwan University, and received a doctorate degree in economics in 1966.
After graduation, Fan became a professor at Kensas State University till 1968 when he transferred to Colorado State University till his retirement in 2006.
Fan’s research focuses on economic theories, currency theories and policies, political economic theories and policies, economic development and international trade. He has made many contributions to the economic policy development in Taiwan.
范良信，1932年生于厦门，1952年入读台湾大学经济系，毕业后来到明尼苏达大学并于1966年取得经济学博士学位。
毕业后，范良信任教于堪萨斯州立大学，1968年，转至科罗拉多州立大学任教直至2006年退休。
范良信的专长领域为经济理论、货币理论与政策、政治经济理论与政策、经济发展与国际贸易，曾为台湾经济政策做出很多贡献。
