Nathan Ning-Hei Ma, who was born in 1932 in Guangxi, graduated from National Taiwan University in 1960 and served as the principal of Yuanlang Xinyi Middle School in Hong Kong. In 1964, Ma enrolled in the University of Minnesota and received a master’s degree in educational administration in 1966.
Upon returning to Hong Kong, Ma continued to serve as the principal at the middle school until 1998. Today, Ma serves as a member of the HKSAR Justices of the Peace and is a Member of the Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)

马宁熙，于1932年生于广西，1960年毕业于台湾大学，继而他返港担任元朗信义中学校长。1964年，马宁熙来到明尼苏达大学并于1966年获得教育行政学专业的硕士学位。
毕业后，马宁熙返回香港继续担任元朗信义中学校长一职，直至1998年。马宁熙于1987年被授予太平绅士称号，他还获得大英帝国员佐勋章（M.B.E.).
