Wu Jing-Jyi 吴静吉

Wu Jing-Jyi, received his doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota’s School of Education in 1967. After graduation, Wu has served on many important positions including professor in the Department of Psychology at National Chengchi University, and the executive director of the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (FSE, Fullbright Taiwan) for 32 years. For his dedication and contributions to international exchange and cooperation between the U.S. and Taiwan, he was recognized by the U.S. State Department with a Certificate of Appreciation.

Wu founded Lanling Theater Workshop which is influential in Taiwan, and was presented the Wen Ying Award from the President of Taiwan and the National Cultural Association for his contributions to the arts and culture.

For his contributions to academia, Wu was awarded the Wooden Bell Award from the Chinese Psychological and Educational Testing Association in 1990.

Now Wu is a member of the Ministry of Education Arts Education Committee, and serves as principal investigator for several important projects.

吴静吉,1967年获得明尼苏达大学教育系博士学位。

毕业后,吴静吉曾任教于国立政治大学,后来他担任学术交流基金会的主任32年之久。为了表彰他为美国和台湾的学术交流和合作所作出的贡献,美国国务院颁发给吴静吉荣誉证书。

吴静吉成立了兰陵剧坊,在台湾颇有影响力,为此,台湾“总统”和中华文化总会颁发给他“文英奖”。

为表彰吴静吉在学术方面的成就,1990年,他被中国测验学会授予木铎奖。

现在,吴静吉担任“教育部”艺术教育委员会的成员,并担任几个重要学术项目的主要研究员。
